My passion for coaching started when my boys were introduced to basketball. When it became our main sport, I wanted to share this journey and experience with them. I was not an athlete; in order for me to teach the game and its fundamentals, I had to learn it. I focused on the values of commitment, hard work, dedication, and patience. Developing not just skills, but also the leadership, confidence, work ethic, mental aptitude, and sportsmanship. We learned and grew together.
Currently, my oldest is attending college in the Philippines on a full-ride scholarship at Centro Escolar University. My 2nd son is at Rio Hondo College, and the rest of my boys are actively playing for the Whittier Bulldogs.
